We don't want to over-complicate things, but we will require you to sign off that you hang with cats like you're good friends. We don't want there to be a fee for hanging with cats, but they do have needs like you and me. Nice complementary warm pita and humus before dinner - though that also took awhile to arrive. Our wine list contains three-hundred labels from all over the world with an emphasis on big, bold, steak-friendly wines. Slowed service down way too much to justify how much you spend on food + tip. I was intrigued and excited to see if the logo's vibe matched up with the cafe. Their steaks cut like butter and are so flavorful.

There is soul in this cafe, open since 2015. Everyone else who got steak was definitely satisfied. However, take heed; the lot is monitored by a towing company, and our customers must use a permit. After opening, we will work on marrying the two. Several are shy and a few sassy, but all came around to offer some form of courteous acknowledgement.

Ordered the food gras and pork for appetizer, fantastic. When Blue Cat Cafe last year, protesters greeted the opening day. How will cats be cared for? Simply send a member of your party into the restaurant, and we will give you a temporary permit which will allow you to park for the evening. The vegan menu and ethereal 80's alternative music add a finishing touch of modern zen with plenty of room to sit with friends or break out the laptop. I then ordered the fillet and my wife ordered the rack of lamb, both rare.

Both were good, and prepared nicely for someone wanting medium rare About halfway through dinner we both felt very hot, as if the ac wasn't working. You need a reservation as this is a tiny place that fills quick Had an early dinner - 5pm reservations - service was good, considering only 3 other tables were being served. We hope to see you soon. Overall, nothing wrong with the ambiance, but certainly not particularly romantic or unique. Cats that haven't been adopted for long periods of time will be purrfured.

Would have given 5 stars had their air conditioning been working better. The food is not in the cattery, but prepared in food trucks outside. Added the balsamic reduction to top it off, it was rather watery and not the semi-syrup variety I'm accustomed to, don't recommend. Nice spot but we would not go back. There are too many other good restaurants in Burlington to waste time at this one. It's a dark unassuming place but very relaxing especially after a day of exploring. The Blue Cat Cafe will have a food truck space outside with patio tables, a small music stage, and a few food truck options, too.

This time we ordered the ribeye, a salad and the bloody mary shrimp cocktail. This was a great piece of fish. University of the Internet Diploma This reward is built into all other rewards. You will appreciate delicious wine, beer or bourbon at Blue Cat Cafe. Maple walnuts and pears were a great addition to the baby kale. The tables were half empty by the time we were seated. There is no waiting space so you need to wait in the hallway.

Great to donate for field trips, too! Only two wait people but the service was excellent. This is a good option for steak if in the area. Seemed only one waitress handling the whole dining area. The only things that could have been improved upon were that the shrimp were a little limp. Could have been worse I guess.

Carryout: Available Tuesday through Saturday. Our server seemed to be making her own drinks too, so not totally her fault. It was cooked perfectly to medium rare per my request. Came here for Vermont Restaurant Week 2018. Started off with the ribs as an app - very tasty. Although there are few tables, the staff still seemed overwhelmed.

It also came with oranges and blood oranges which was a great acid to complement the fatty salmon. But it's Austin so no big deal! This option is much less expensive than the nearby parking lot options. We finished with the warm beat salad, and although I'm a huge fan of the beats, the additional orange pieces were too much mixed with the goat cheese. Guests can play with the adoptable cats and do other cafe activities. Several parties waiting just ended up leaving.
